JUSTINE MENDOZA

BS Biology, Major in Medical Biology

Manila Theological College

Hi! I'm Justine. As a child, I had this quotation: "I am a boy with a simple dream." But can I say that even I'm in the adult stage?

I guess not. As I got older and older, by the time I realized I wanted more, I wanted to explore something that could trigger my deep knowledge of science. Basically, become a scientist. I successfully achieved a part of my dream; still, I had this "I want more" attitude. I decided to become a doctor since my goal is to study and explore more beyond my understanding. That's why I'm pursuing a degree in medical biology, which I can say I'll be able to finish in 2024.

My family is not financially stable, and I am still working as SK treasurer to help with my studies. I am massively thankful to the Keh Family Foundation, which partially helped me with my financial needs in college; it changed a lot since I was not expecting money aside from what my parents give. It helped me to sustain my budget for transportation, food and some parts of my research materials.

My future endeavors are my top priority, and to be exact, I plan and want to be a doctor who can help others like what I experience right now. I hope everyone does not let their hopes down because I believe that if I did, you could do more.😊💖
