SPECIAL PROJECTS AND PARTNERSHIPS
FANRAISING DRIVE
This special campaign aimed to raise funds to provide electric fans to public schools in the Philippines to help combat the intense heat. Because of the summer weather and El Niño phenomenon, the heat indices in several towns and cities soared to dangerous levels, necessitating actions from schools to prevent heat-related illnesses and problems.

Health Seminars
To complement our community clinic program, we conduct heath seminars for the residents of Tonsuya, Malabon. Among the topics for these seminars include:
- Postnatal care
- Common pediatric illnesses and preventive care
- Breastfeeding
- Importance of prenatal care
CATMON CARES
Medical Mission
In partnership with the King Solomon Foundation, KFF organized a medical mission for children and expectant mothers in Barangay Catmon, Malabon. This project brought together several volunteer doctors and nurses to conduct checkups for children and pregnant women, as well as provide over-the-counter medicines for common illnesses and multivitamins.
Within two weeks, KFF was able to raise enough for 430 electric fans, including donations by manufacturers Dowell Philippines and Tough Mama.
To date, KFF has distributed almost 200 of the fans to several public elementary and high schools in Luzon. We have partnered with Kaya Natin! Movement’s youth groups in other provinces to distribute the remaining fans in their areas.

Deworming Day
As part of the Foundation’s efforts to bring essential healthcare closer to the community, deworming days are also implemented in lieu of regular clinic days in Brgy. Tonsuya. Free deworming medicines and vitamins for children are distributed to ensure good gut health.
